Session Details
This session follows up on the Plenary Session on the topic of DNS Abuse that was held at ICANN66 in November 2019 (see https://icann66.pathable.com/meetings/1116759 for the materials and transcript from the session). In this session, speakers from the Generic Names Supporting Organization’s Registries Stakeholder Group, Registrars Stakeholder Group and Commercial Stakeholder Group as well as the Country Code Names Supporting Organization will come together with speakers from the At Large Advisory Committee, Governmental Advisory Committee, Security and Stability Advisory Committee, and the ICANN organization to cover two key areas. First, speakers will review and discuss developments that have taken place since the plenary session at ICANN66, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Then, in a second segment, speakers will discuss possible next steps that the ICANN Community, Board, and Organization can take to address DNS abuse. The session will be moderated by former ICANN Board member Bruce Tonkin and will include opportunities for participants to ask questions of the panelists.
Session Leader: Mary Wong
